Bellet is a district of Nice. Bellet hill lies west of the city, above the Var valley.

01Where is Bellet hill?
Bellet is part of the city of Nice. Its slopes overlook the left bank of the Var, north-west of the city centre.
The Les Piafs des Collines apartment is on Bellet hill. It is neither by the sea nor in the city centre. The beach is 7 minutes away by car, outside traffic.
From its two terraces, the view opens onto the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels).
02What is Bellet wine?
Bellet is an appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC). It was recognised by a decree of 11 November 1941. The wine is harvested only within the city of Nice.
A few facts about the appellation:
- reds and rosés made from folle noire and braquet;
- whites made from rolle, also called vermentino.
You live in the middle of a vineyard, without leaving the city of Nice.
03How do you visit the Bellet estates?
In 2026, a Bellet wine shuttle ran from June to September from the Magnan stop. It ran on Saturdays in June and September, and on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August. According to Explore Nice Côte d'Azur, a bus came about every 1 h 20, between 10:20 and 18:15.
It served seven partner estates:
- Château de Bellet;
- Domaine de la Source;
- Domaine de Vinceline;
- Collet de Bovis;
- Château de Crémat;
- Clos Saint-Vincent;
- Domaine Saint-Jean.

04How do you get around from Bellet hill without a car?
Bus 60 stops 50 m from the apartment. It connects with tram line 2 at Magnan.
According to Nice Côte d'Azur airport, line 2 links the airport terminals to the city centre in under 30 minutes. It serves the Jean Médecin and Port Lympia stops.
05How long by car from Bellet?
A private parking space is included, within the villa's enclosed grounds. Outside traffic, from the apartment:

06Where do you shop near Bellet?
The Nice Lingostière shopping centre is at 606 boulevard du Mercantour, 06200 Nice. According to the Côte d'Azur France tourist office, the shopping arcade is open from 9:00 to 20:00, Monday to Saturday. The hypermarket opens from 8:00 to 21:00, and on Sundays from 8:00 to 12:30.

07What is the apartment like?
- A 77.51 m² dual-aspect apartment, on the 1st floor of a villa.
- Two terraces of 10.58 and 15.75 m², facing south-east and south-west, overlooking the sea.
- In the morning, the sun rises over the south-east terrace.
- In the evening, you have dinner on the south-west terrace, facing the bay.
- An extendable table for six, under an electric awning, and a plancha.
- A shared pool, at set hours.
- A reversible heat pump that heats in winter and cools in summer.
To live for a few months on the hill, ask whether the apartment is free on your dates.
