What is a bail mobilité?
It is a French furnished lease of 1 to 10 months, created by the ELAN law of 23 November 2018 (articles 25-12 et suivants de la loi du 6 juillet 1989). It can be neither renewed nor extended by tacit agreement, and the landlord may not ask for a security deposit.
Who can rent under a bail mobilité in Nice?
A person in professional training, higher education, an apprenticeship, an internship, civic service (service civique), a work relocation or a temporary assignment. Proof of the reason is requested before the lease is signed.
Can my employer pay the rent?
Yes. When a company, a relocation agency, an insurer or a production company pays, the apartment is let under a lease in the organisation's name, from 3 months, with an invoice in its name. No proof of reason is then required.
What does the rent include?
Everything: service charges, electricity, water, air conditioning, fibre internet, private parking space, pool access, bed and bath linen, welcome kit and final cleaning. The tenant receives no energy bills.
How much does it cost?
€2,880 per month for 7 to 10 months, €3,200 per month for 3 to 6 months and €3,600 per month for 1 to 2 months, all inclusive.
Is the Visale guarantee accepted?
Visale, the French state rent guarantee, is not available at this rent level. The guarantee takes the form of a guarantor: your employer or a private individual.
Can I rent for less than a month?
No. The minimum stay is one month.
How does arrival work?
Check-in is autonomous: the access code is sent before your move-in date. There is no key handover appointment and no time constraint.

On Bellet hill, west of Nice. By car, outside traffic: Clinique Kantys Centre 12 min, Valrose campus 13 min, CHU Pasteur 2 15 min, Centre Antoine Lacassagne 16 min, airport 20 min, Monaco 22 min, Sophia Antipolis 28 min. Bus 60 stops 50 m away and connects to tram line 2 at Magnan.
